CMS Smart Sync helps you import and update Webflow CMS content from CSV or Excel files without manually editing items one by one.
Getting Started
1. Install CMS Smart Sync Install the app on your Webflow Workspace and authorize access to your CMS.CMS Smart Sync only requests the CMS permissions required to read and update Collection items. 2. Select a Collection Open CMS Smart Sync and select the Webflow CMS Collection you want to work with.The app will load the existing items and fields from that Collection. 3. Upload Your Data Upload a CSV or Excel file containing the content you want to import or update.CMS Smart Sync will read the columns from your file and prepare them for mapping.
4. Map Fields Match each column from your uploaded file to the corresponding field in your Webflow CMS Collection.You can review the mapping before continuing.
5. Review Your Data Before anything is synced, CMS Smart Sync shows a preview of the changes.You can see which items will be created or updated and check for errors or warnings before making changes to your CMS.
6. Sync with Webflow Once everything looks correct, start the sync.CMS Smart Sync will create or update the selected CMS items in Webflow.
AI Text
CMS Smart Sync also includes AI-assisted text generation for CMS content.Enter your instructions, select the CMS field where the generated content should go, and review the generated text before syncing it to Webflow.
Data Control
CMS Smart Sync does not make CMS changes until you confirm the sync.You can review your data, field mappings, and detected changes before anything is written to your Webflow CMS.
