Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Styler processes information when you use the Styler Webflow Designer Extension, related backend services, and feedback features.

By using Styler, you acknowledge the practices described below.

Styler is a Webflow Designer Extension for page analysis, Client-First-oriented naming, Navigator organization, component naming, saved plans, and Webflow Variable workflows.

Some features operate locally in the Webflow Designer. Other features use Styler's backend services.

Webflow project context: site and workspace identifiers, page context, element identifiers and types, display names, class names, supported style information, and component context.

Page-derived content for AI naming: limited element text, display names, class names, structural relationships, and descendant/type metadata.

Feedback: feedback category, email address you provide, message you provide, and limited site/app context required to handle the submission.

Authentication: Webflow identity information needed for server-side verification and an app-specific short-lived session token.

Styler is not designed to collect passwords entered into Webflow forms, authentication credentials entered into form fields, payment-card information entered into site forms, arbitrary browser history, or unrelated files from your device.

Protected user-input and authentication-related elements are excluded from Styler scan and Apply workflows.

Styler processes information to scan and understand the current Webflow page, generate naming suggestions, prepare reviewed Apply plans, manage saved plans, create and bind supported design-system Variables, authenticate users, validate site/workspace context, detect revoked access, deliver feedback, protect the service against misuse, and diagnose failures.

Styler uses OpenAI for AI-assisted semantic naming.

When you request AI naming, limited page-derived information may be sent from Styler to its backend and then to OpenAI for processing. Protected credential-related form fields are excluded before this analysis.

Styler's Variable workflow is separate from the AI naming workflow.

Cloudflare: backend application services, authentication/session handling, and backend data storage.

OpenAI: AI-assisted naming analysis.

Resend: delivery of feedback messages submitted through Styler.

These providers process information according to their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

Analysis cache: AI analysis results may be cached locally to reduce duplicate requests. Current retention is up to 30 days.

Saved scan/history data: saved locally so a previous plan can be restored. Current retention is up to 30 days.

Onboarding state: limited state such as whether a step has been completed.

Authentication: the app session token is held in memory rather than intentionally persisted in localStorage or IndexedDB.

Feedback: feedback records are retained under the current retention process for up to 90 days and are also deleted when the related app installation is revoked or removed where the associated site can be identified.

Authentication and installation data: maintained as necessary to operate the app and deleted or invalidated when authorization is revoked or an installation relationship is removed.

AI requests: Styler sends AI naming requests through its backend for processing. Styler does not use page content to train its own model.

When a Styler installation is determined to be revoked, Styler removes related server-side session and installation records and associated feedback records for known sites.

Local browser data may remain until it expires or is cleared from the browser profile.

Styler uses controls including HTTPS backend communication, fixed backend destinations, server-side identity verification, short-lived app sessions, site/workspace context binding, session invalidation on authorization failure, exact-origin CORS controls, encrypted OAuth access-token storage, protected credential-field exclusion, context validation before supported project writes, and scoped component updates.

No system can guarantee absolute security.

Styler does not sell user data.

Information is shared only as necessary to operate the requested functionality, including with the infrastructure, AI-processing, and email-delivery providers described above, or where required by law.

You can reduce or stop further processing by not using AI-assisted naming, not submitting feedback, uninstalling or revoking Styler's Webflow authorization, or clearing browser storage for the Styler extension origin.

Styler is intended for professional Webflow users and is not directed to children.

This Policy may be updated as Styler changes. The Last updated date identifies the current version.
